Hi all you humans! I am Bette, pronounced "Bet" like in a poker game or Bette Milder. I actually was named after the fabulous Miss M because my humans, Blondie and Brown Eyes said that I had the Bette Milder prissy prance.
I am a 13-year-old Lhasa Apsos. That's pretty old in human years, but I still have lots of energy and I enjoy life. As with humans, as I have aged , my hair color has changed and my skin has become different. I take more naps, but I can still run fast and bark loud when necessary. My nose is dry. My humans put lotions and other stuff on it, but I lick it off. I can't help myself, they have tried three different potions and they all taste good to me. I may be aging, a fact of life that none of us can escape, but I am still young at heart.
I decided to write my book, "Bette, I Have a Tale to Tell" while I could still remember it all. I have had an exciting and wonderful life. Remember this: if you want unconditional love in your life, very few dull moments, and a lot of laughs, get a fur person like me! Okay cats are fur people too. Kittens are cute, but when they grow up , they get on my last nerve. Also, remember this: Anybody who doesn't know what soap tastes like never washed a dog!
